Have you gained any weight?
Did you eat a big meal right before you had your bp taken?
A physician told my husband that in order to get an accurate reading, a person needs to be relaxed for about 10 minutes.
If you were rushing around before it was taken that could affect it too.
I wouldn't worry too much unless it occurs often, but the top number is still good. The bottom number is marginal.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

That is such a minute change. Your BP could change from 108/85 to 110/70 just by walking a bit faster. Don't sweat the small stuff....Good Luck

Obviously you blood pressure is getting higher for some reason. Are you under a lot of stress? Taking a new medication? Have you gained weight and become more sedentary? It's time to see a doctor and get his/her opinion. If it's just stress perhaps you could try some meditation or biofeedback. If it's something else than a doctor needs to address the problem. You blood pressure is not overly high but it's high for you so early intervention will make sure it doesn't go any higher.

i just went through this. My doctor prescribed. A clove of garlic (raw) or a bulb cooked a day and bananas. This worked in a matter of 7 days, it lowered my blood pressure by 12 points systolic and the bottom number went down about 20. From 168/110 to 156/81

That depends. If you're going through a lot of stress right now, it could be a temporary thing; on the other hand, you might have hypertension. I would go to the doctor and get it checked out--blood pressure is nothing to fool around with.

Low blood pressure this low can be an issue. Check out Wilson's Syndrome via a net search. It is very interesting. I have low too and both of my kids and mine is related to thyroid. Keep searching, it is not like others say, always good.

Probably nothing that small of a fluctuation probably doesn't mean anything.
