No. Your doctor should be able to do a test to see what it is. I had mono and I had the same concern. My doctor was able to quickly show me I had Mono.

Well, one of the symptoms is a mono-like illness that includes high fevers, night sweats, enlarged lymph glands, and neuropathy. But, if you have protected sex, and have not done any needle-sticking drugs, I would say that you're okay and you probably just have mono. If you have done any of these actions, get tested for HIV instead. "Mono" is really only a one time thing when HIV first invades the body.

No. completely diffrent. EBV 'Epstein-Barr virus" causes a mono test to come up positive.
