any thoughts on meatrix? good? bad?
are they for real? what? meatrix is found in the bonus material of fast food nation

I had never heard of it until I read your question... I just looked it up and watched the first movie.
My thoughts...
Very good, simply explained, to the point and as accurate as all the material I've read (dozens of articles and 1 book) on the topic of agriculture as a factory.

People choose to believe the meat on their plates used to be happy, healthy critters when the reality is the animals are stressed, dirty, ill and injured.

I'm going to send the link to all my buddies...and there are 2 more movies to see plus fast food nation has been on my list.

It's interesting. I haven't seen Fast Food Nation, I saw it before FFN came out, on the internet.

I liked them, all except for one detail: It only promotes "more humane" slaughter conditions, instead of the obvious answer to animal suffering, vegetarianism...

I still need to see the Matrix movies, though.

It's ok, a good intro to be sure, but I don't think it should stand alone.
