Absolutely. Herpes, gonorrhea, and chlamydia can all occur in the eyes.
If the mother has gonorrhea or chlamydia it can be spread to the newborn as it is coming through the birth canal. A common cause of a herpes infection of the eye is the handling of contact lenses with hands infected by active sores at other sites, notably the mouth. Both of these are pretty rare to have but it can happen.

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 3 yrs ago, whilst I was still in college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand lots of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/x1hO6 everything changed.
Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the hsv from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

Well, I never heard of that, but if you have infected body fluid on your finger, it might be possible cuz your eyes is a cavity and the germs can go to the rest of your body, but I really don't think so.

Some you can. Though it is quite rare. If you have a herpes outbreak (whether a cold sore or genitals) it is possible to pass it on to your eyes.

An STD = sexually transmitted disease & most STD's transmission has to include sexual contact of some sort. You can get conjunctivitis from rubbing your eye though.
