my voice is gone. i cant take off work. my boss complains.

you should see a dr. then get a dr note, your boss can't complain at that. people fake sick all the time but you can't fake a rash or a missing voice. if your boss is still a jerk, leave the job

Forget about your boss ,your health comes first because if you have your health you can always work any where but without it you can't work any where.
Fever is a bad sign,you might have infection some where,it's one of these body language asking for medical attention
My advice is not to run but you should fly
To the nearest hospital's ER to check
yourself in and I hope everything is okay.

Is there anything else? sounds to me you need a good antibiotic, is there massive swelling anywhere? are there any blue spots showing up? when a cut happens does it take a long time to heal? Do see a good Doctor.

I had a bad rash a while back it was red sore and itchy under my armpits.
I went to docs and he said it was down to stress!! .
