I used a condom but 2 days later I had a respiratory infection type sickness. I blow clear snot out every morning in the shower. During the day i feel congested and have somewhat of a strong metalic odor coming out of my nose at times. No other symptoms other then that. The snot smell ive never smelled wont seem to go away. Any Ideas of what it could be?

Yeah, should have "double bagged it"... Now, you have that respiratory STD that's been floating around lately. I hear it's fatal....Good Luck! Happy St. P's Day!!!

Unless you were also doing unprotected oral I think its probably just a cold you picked up recently. You can have orally contracted STDs but the only way to confirm or treat anything is to see your doctor. Typically one would cause a sore throat ever before anything respiratory. Go get yourself checked if you need piece of mind....the health department will do it for free. With the clear snot it sounds really more like a virus, since it would be color that denotes an infection.
