I am on my feet all day long, BUT, I have had the same job for over a year now. For the last 3 months or so my feet have been burning and my knees ache. I get sick to my stomach and lightheaded. I have poor eating habits while at work, but I eat while at home and I still feel aweful. My knees kill me. I am not sure if being thirsty or peeing alot is a myth for diabetics, but I am not thirsty all the time and I pee just fine. If anyone has any suggestions on this, please HELP!!!!!!!! I have plenty of doctors bills now, I want some input before I rack up another one.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I would say with confidence that you are not diabetic.

No, it doesn't sound like you have diabetes, it sounds like you dont take care of yourself well. Your feet burn and legs ache because you are on your feet alot, you probably should get better shoes, and when you are not on your feet, elevate your legs above your heart. Get some good support hose for when you are at work. Take care to eat snacks every few hours at work, and drink lots of fluids. A sign of diabetes is being very thirsty all the time, and then having to urinate alot. You can still have it without those symptoms, but the symptoms you have dont sound like it to me.....you have check for DM with a simple blood test at the MD office, if you are really concerned.

Your knees and ankles have nothing to do with you becoming a diabetic. They are probably bothering you because you are on your feet all day long, or you have poor circulation. Get some better shoes. The sick to your stomach and lightheaded feeling are probably from poor nutrition, or you being overly tired and stressed.
