Everything you had for your meal was good for a diabetic .... except the cake.
Diabetics need to watch their sugar intake. You would have been better to stick with the fruit, and don't put sugar on the fruit next time.
I, personally, find that I have as much trouble with fats as I do with carbs (sugars are carbs). So, I probably wouldn't have had the butter on the roll.
So, go get tested, and if you have diabetes, it is not the end of the world. There are lots of us out here.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I am diabetic, the cake part would be no good for me, but the rest fine, if you had symptoms of diabeties it would not be an increase in appetite, it would be an increase in drinking, peeing, blurred vision, tiredness, and headaches, being healthy your pancreas will regulate your insulin to between 4-7 anything over and above that should be checked by a simple blood test to the finger...

There is a lot of refined carbs and sugar in there, if I ate that lot (I am diabetic) I would feel very ill indeed! I would be feeling like I could not keep my eyes open and just want to lay down and sleep ...which is the worst thing you can do with a high blood sugar.

the soup, salad and fish are great. the cake... not so good. Diabetics need to watch out for sugar, but also need to eat a low carb diet. I suggest getting tested soon if you even think you may have it. The sooner you know, the better. good luck!

Have fresh fruits instead of cakes, cookies or pies. Or learn to use Splenda and eat sugar free.
All carbohydrates turn to sugar in your body. Breads, desserts, pastas, potatoes and rice.
Learn to eat veggies, fruits and lean meat. Drink water and not sodas or even the diet sodas, they are all made from chemicals and mess with your bodies chemistry.
Most important is to get tested. Google diabetic symptoms and see if you have any.
