I just read it in Daniel - some translations say 'shame is on us' or 'shame of face'. I'm interested if there are any more intelligent answers than this.
I am certain that God knows how his creation reacts to inbreeding, but I can't tell if this verse is addressing this point or not.
Keep me in the loop, if possible.

I think not. The same faces keep appearing down through time. They are a family thing. If this doctrine were true, an evil twin could cause an innocent actual hell! Nah. God is smarter than that. A face is a face. The soul is individual, even if it is reincarnated (or not!).

When you consider that according to the bible, the entire human population started with only two people, then Eve must have been screwing the boys a lot. Sorry, but either the whole thing is crap, or...the whole thing is crap.
