Diabetes is a disease where in Type I no insulin is produced in the body by the pancreas. In Type 2 the pancreas produces insulin, but it is not enough to carry out the job that it is required to do. People with Type 1 usually are on insulin and patients that are type 2 either are on insulin or oral diabetes medications. Diabetes is another way of saying that someones blood suger is not under control. They have to
watch what they eat, take medications, and nonitor their glucose carefully. With proper diet, medication, exercise and healthcare team to help them in their quest, diabetes is not curable but it is treatable. For more in depth information about Daibetes, go to the American Daibetes Website and also check out the WebMD website. It is a lack of sugar in the blood or as in most cases, it's a case of too much sugar in the blood.

basically your body is not making the proper amount of insulin to control your sugar level, so you can control it by diet only, or by taking tablets, if worst cases one has to inject insulin.

If your body is not making enough sugar, then you have to increase you sugar intake, Doctors will confirm which diabetes you have. The most common is the body is making too much sugar.
