If you eat a well balanced diet, there is no need for supplements. I juice carrots, celery, parsley, beets, swiss chard and apple for a yummy vitamin cocktail-I do this twice a day, and I feel great! Vegetarian is so much easier on the digestive system too

I'm 18 now and Ive been a vegetarian for four years now and the only time when I took any vitamins or supplements was when I was sick.
God, now that I think about it my diet is so bad lol i rarely eat eggs but I do like milk and other dairy products. I'm surprised my body is still functioning properly. I guess it would be a good idea to take vitamins. It all depends on your body.

I don't believe that supplements are good for you they aren't absorbed into your body the same way they would when they are naturally occurring in your food. I've been a vegetarian for 10 years (and a vegan for some of that time) and they only "supplement" I've taken is O-Mega-Zen3 to insure I get my omega 3s and that's just algae in a capsule. concerning protein there is protein in almost everything so you never have to worry about it just make sure you consume your beans and whole grains, fresh vegetables and nuts. No, esp if you make sure you have a balanced diet. I was a veggie for years, never had any health problems, and never took vitamins. Don't worry about the protein, you need a lot less than you think. If you're truly concerned, take an iron pill, as that's the only nutrient you might want to consider stocking up on as a woman. A word of advice, though, they can cause constipation, so drink lots and lots of water and get plenty of fiber!!

Supplements don't provide protein. When they do, it's usually small amounts - you'd be better off eating a slice of mock turkey or something.
As far as supplements, it's your call. If you are eating a balanced diet, supplements are not necessary, just as it is with an omniverous diet.

yes, that would be sufficient. i am a vegetarian and the only vitamins i take are vitamin c because it's good for my immune system. it wouldn't hurt anyone, veggie or not, to take vitamins now and then, but it's not a requirement as long as you get the nutrients you need. check the nutrition facts or look online to see what nutrients are in the food you eat. i know yahoo also has a free diet assessment in their health section, and if you get worried you can also go to your doc and have them test your blood. but i don't think you will need to go that far. good luck!
