we usually don't feel our heart beating - we are quite used to it by the time we are born

People tend to feel their heart beating if they pay attention to it - like when they are anxious or unwell

Im not sure if you mean you have felt two beats of your heart, like thumps on ocassion, or if you mean you have noticed an awareness of your heart beating on two ocassions? If you mean the former, they are just ectopic beast & harmelss, if you mean the latter, they are palpitations & many peaople get these i myself they are usually harmless & very often occur when you are unwell, especially with a fever. You are more aware of your heart beating when you are layed down, this is normal

I know if you have strep throat and you don't treat it you can get rheumatic fever which can damage your heart valves.. anyway if you didn't have strep your heart beat should be anywhere between 60-100 beats per minute.. good luck!
