i'm in my mid teens and was diagnosed with a sinus infection last month, although i have been sick since january. i have been having trouble breathing since i got sick and the doctor ordered a pulmonary test, which showed that my airway was inflamed. he prescribed an inhaler to use once in the morning and once at night (its not a fast acting inhaler thing for attacks) and have been using it for almost a month now. my trouble breathing has been occurring less frequently but today they have been the worst. ever since i woke up, i have already had 2 attacks (not sure if theyre really attacks, just guessing) my symptoms are: trouble breathing, shallow and rapid breathing, weakness and lightheadedness, tightness in my chest, sometimes i feel tightness in my neck. it triggers/get worse when i spray perfume or put effort into something, such as walking around school or going up and down stairs. do you think i'm beginning to develop asthma?

I think it could be a lot of different things and you need to see a doctor to be properly diagnosed. There are a ton of online sites to search your symptoms, but none of those can replace seeing a doctor. There are a lot of things to take into consideration ... age, weight, diet, stress .. good luck and be careful!

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

You really should call your doctor, and I would do it today. Tell them about your symptoms so that they can give you an appointment soon.

What you're describing is just what I feel when I'm having an asthma attack. A rescue inhaler might lessen your symptoms.

I would definately consult an Asthma and Allergy specialist. Your parents should be able to check their insurance records to find one in your area. I have terrible asthma and you sound just like me. Sorry honey.
