are you able to eat eggs when you are a vegetarian?

I do. Eggs are not slaughtered animals but I do make sure I buy local free range organic eggs.

It all depends on who you ask. Some staunch vegetarians may not eat eggs by this reasoning:
They will not eat anything that had a mother.
Others feel that it's okay to eat eggs b/c it's not technically the flesh of an animal.

Yes, it's called being an ovo-vegetarian. I would suggest that you get your eggs from small family farms instead of buying them from the supermarket. It's more expensive, but you can be sure the animals were treated humanely, which is the whole point of being vegetarian. :)

yes, milk and eggs are suitable for most vegetarians. Vegans do not eat eggs or milk, or anything that is tested on animals. My daughter is a veggie, and she loves her eggs

Yes, lacto-ova vegetarians eat eggs and dairy, just cut out the meat. Cut out eggs and you lose the 'ova' part, cut out everything and you're vegan.

No! Vegans do not eat anything that once had a noise mouth , ears or eyes. Basically a face, nor do the eat any products made from them. (butter ,eggs ,milk, ect)

Vegetarian don't eat meats!(tyrkey, chicken, fish,beef, pork ect...)
