Beebs, the only moron here is you. Its a legitimate question, and no I don't feel any more guilt about eating meat than my cat does.

Yest isn't an animal, it's a living culture which is why some people make the argument that vegans shouldn't eat yeast. Yeast doesn't possess a central nervous system, and it doesn't scream in pain, bleed, etc. I'm vegan and a carb-o-holic. I'm all for the bread.

properly I even have made my own bread some circumstances utilising a recipe from a cookbook (hail to Delia) and the only factors I used have been: Flour Water Yeast Salt. Now if Im common I dont be attentive to what the deal is with yeast, I dont think of its animal derived yet i must be incorrect. (thats the factor approximately being a meat eater, you dont spend your life examining packets to make certain in the event that they're desirable or no longer, you merely use them) something of the factors are vegan. I dont be attentive to what persons are speaking approximately utilising eggs and in one case, lard. I even have in no way used the two and my bread seems wonderful. To sum up. My bread is vegan, (except yeast has some animal product in that I dont be attentive to approximately) The assets you purchase in supermarkets could perhaps be a distinctive tale

Nefer--Cats cannot be vegetarians--they are obligate carnivores. It is very unhealthy for cats to be on a vegetarian diet. I am vegetarian and have investigated this for my animals. Dogs, however, can survive on a vegetarian diet better than cats.

Like everyone else has said, yeast is not an animal!

Yeast is a fungus, not an animal. Vegans can eat bread as long as it doesn't have milk or eggs in it.

Yeast is not an animal! haha.... yeastabeast.

Definition of Yeast: A general term for single-celled fungi that reproduce by budding. Some yeasts can ferment carbohydrates (starches and sugars) and thus are important in brewing and baking.

Yeast are just evil little bastards and deserve to die.

Salt too, that's another animal I love to much on.
And sugar. Those little crystals always look at me funny, I laugh at their screams as they get doused in acid!

Yeast is not an animal.

Yeast is classified as a fungus.

So as long as the bread is egg, dairy and honey free... they will eat it.

Yeast is an organism yes...but if vegans avoided all organisms they would starve to death because a trace amount of bacteria (another form of life) is in everything we eat.
