How to stop snoring?

I know that snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea. The websites below are ones I just quickly found. I suggest talking to the doctor if you have that option, and see about getting a sleep test. My Uncle has sleep apnea and they have him on this breathing machine while he sleeps which stops the snoring (he's been on it for as long as I can remember).

Hope one of the sites helps. Good Luck!

When it comes to a cure, there is no single solution that will guarantee to work for everyone. There are products available out there currently that helps alter your breathing pathway and improves your breathing throughout the night. Products such as snoring pillow, which elevate your head when you sleep to promote more airflow intake during the night works for those with mild snoring only. Machines like the CPAP will provide you with sufficient air at night, so that you don't snore. Snoring mouth guards will prevent your tongue from dropping into your throat. All these will work fine, depending on the severity of your snoring. But bear in mind, this is not natural, once you stop using it; your snoring will come back.

Almost always, the first answer is to try to drop some excess weight. Proping up the bed is also helpful, so that the head is a little higher than the feet. And, as silly as it may sound, putting a fan on in the bedroom, facing you, helps some people.

You need to get this checked out by the doc to rule out a medical cause for the snoring. Once the doc checks you out he will recommend what to do for whatever is causing your snoring.

Put guppies up your nose and swallow jellybeans whole. Also you might try standing on your head and singing the national anthem backwards with corned beef and pudding in your mouth right before you go to bed. My friend tried this and got positive results from doing it every night.
