Each dose it suppose to cover you for 12 hours. If you double up on it only once a day, not only are going to bottom your pressure out, but, you will not have the coverage you need for the remainder of the 12 hours left in the day. Do not change your medications unless the doc says it's ok. There is a reason "why" your doc prescribed it this way.

No you can't change it. The effects of the medication do not last the entire 24 hours. In order to keep your pressure under control for the entire day you must take two doses. Ramipril also has the effect of somewhat controlling your heart rhythm. Take all cardiac medications as they were prescribed.

If you take ramipril for hypertension ;yes,If take ramipril for congestive heart failure;no.Best way ask your doctor. concern to other answer;
Dear colleague(if you are)please check your PDR(physicians desk reference if you have) will get the right answer.By the way;BID is not equal Q12 h,or tid not equal q8h.get it!
