I have been reading articles, you keep mentioning eating raw onions will help to reduce blood pressure. What part of nutrition value is really helping us to reduce blood pressure? Some of the nutrition value in onion also available in other vegetables.

Raw onions have a property to reduce blood cholesterol level (there is a bit of controversy on this). It can be due to the presence of its volatile oil allyl propyl disulphide. Garlic also help to reduce the blood pressure

Fish oil capsules are good taken 3 times a day. They help with cholesterol and high blood pressure. I know because I have both and since taking fish oil i am fine.

if you eat raw onion, it may cause acid refluxes

you need to cook it rare to medium and you can make sure you will not get acid refluxes. but best medicine to help your stomach upset and pain too. nobody told everyone about this.

if people eat raw onions, it is how many people suffers from acid refluxes because many fast food restaurant serve hamburger with the sliced raw onion. it is bad option
