i started drinking more water because of my asthma and i want to rehydrate to get rid of some of the tightness i feel in my rib cage.how long does it take to get your water intake right?

A good judge is how light your urine is sometimes. Usually, you can do it in a few hours .You can overdue it, 8 glasses a day should be adequate unless you have a fever, or other way to loose fluid. (bottom way!) Gatorade is good. If you are still 'tight' are you needing more help, like ER? Don't wait too long, it's harder to treat if you wait too long. You might need some steoids, or RT Tx at the ER. Feel better!
