The biggest symptom is that you would be VERY VERY thirsty
and because of that you would urinate a lot. Within a short time you would begin to lose weight because your body is not getting any nutrition, food is not going into the cells. When the blood sugar rises, frequently you will get a headache. I'm talking about type 1 diabetic. I hope this helps.

In my case (I'm a type 2), there weren't any apparent symptoms. I found out as a result of a blood test during a routine physical. If you know a diabetic, just ask them to check your blood sugar. Since we account for at least 7% of the population, you should have no trouble finding a diabetic willing to check your sugar.

Thirsty all the time, pee all the time, feel weak and dizzy, feel hungry, weight loss, to name some.
Don't take any longer than you have to wait. You should survive until Friday. Avoid sugary foods and drinks and watch the carbohydrates such as are in fatty foods. Eat vegetables.

Thirst always, pee all the time, liking sugar, but all of these will show up on your "I think it's a gluclose" test

Good Luck,
Not to have it, my Mom has it & alters r life style & food intake

Get a one touch blood sugar machine at walmart and test your blood sugar. If it is over 120 then most likely you are diabetic.
