I have really severe lactose intolerance and if I drink milk, eat ice cream or eat anything with milk in it, it causes me to bloat up with gas. I also end up in atrial fib over the bloat.
It occurs worse when I sleep because for some reason, I do not expell gas well in my sleep, so I bloat up and wake up with heart palpitations (a fib). It goes away on its own thank the Lord, when I pass a lot of gas and get my stomach to go back down. Figuring that out saved me a fortune in hospital bills. I have been seeing a cardiologist for years and am a known heart patient.
I am 42 yrs old and started doing this when I was about 21.
