Your Social Services department should be able to help you if you have no income or very minimal income! Social Security Disability is a long term option but I'm not quite sure all heart attacks qualify. It would be determined by the doctors assessment of just how disabling the heart attack effected you.

You should contact the SS office and get on disablitity did you work before if you did can you file for disability through your work?
