I am curious as to whether there are other things besides the traditional veggie burger, tofu, and falafel answers.

get some prego speghetti and dont add meat to it, make some noodles heat it up and enjoy. or my favorite is get some noodles go and buy some of that jar cheese sause when the spegetti is done drain it and add the cheese sause and then add a little speghetti sause. the recipe is sooo good and you can top it with parmesan cheese. btw the sause will be done when its heated the whole thing may cost less than 5 bucks.

Vegetarian Lentil Soup Recipe


INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 onion, diced
1 carrot sliced
4 cups vegetable broth
1 cup dry lentils
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dried thyme
2 bay leaves
dash salt
1 tbsp lemon juice


PREPARATION:
In a large pot, sautee the onions and carrot in the vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes until onions turn clear.
Add the vegetable broth, lentils, pepper, thyme, bay leaves and salt.
Reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook until lentils are soft, about 45 minutes. Remove bay leaves before serving.

Quorn is very versatile. Use the mince to make bolognaise or shepherds pie. Quorn pieces and veggie stew is nice too or try the Quorn fillet with chips

You can take the meat of just about any recipe and substitute.
Chili...add kidney beans
chicken Alfredo...add chick peas
lasagna
veggie pot pies
stuffed crepes(veggie or fruit)
lol...Kraft dinner...cant get any cheaper then that.
