Is urinalysis test with negative glucose the simplest way to detect if you dont have any types of diabetes?? My aunts have diabetes and most of them have been amputated and have died already. :(( Thanks.

Actually, a fasting blood glucose test will more accurately diagnose diabetes, and is the most common way of doing so. Schedule this for the morning, because you'll need to refrain from eating or drinking anything except water for at least 8 hours before the blood sample is taken.

Sorry about your aunts, but good for you for taking an active role in getting yourself tested.

Your family history certainly is a reason to be concerned. The best way to find out the status of your health is to have thorough blood work and review it with your doctor. Simple finger checks like mentioned above will tell you what your blood glucose is at the moment, but it can't give you an accurate look at the overall picture. Only blood work can do that, and it can actually give the doctors an idea of what your blood glucose levels have been for the past 3 months (it's the A1c test). I recommend doing this as soon as possible if you are worried, and having it done every 6 months (or as your doctor orders) because of your family history. Best wishes.

A diagnosis of diabetes cannot be made solely on a urinalysis. Performing a blood glucose test may be a good indicator but it still cannot make a diagnosis. If you are worried, visit your gp who may perform several tests due to your family history of diabetes, This may include a fasting blood glucose where your blood sugar is tested on a morning before you eat, or maybe even a OGTT (oral glucose tolerance test), I would definately visit your doctor.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

The best way to detect if you are at risk of diabetes, and by your family history you may be, is to have your blood sugar levels tested regularly. In Aust. chemists will do it for you, it is just a simple prick on your finger and the machine reads the amount of sugar in your blood.I would have a chat with your doctor, there are bsl kits you can buy and you could test yourself at home at the same time each day. That is probably the simplest way.

The best test for diabetes is called A1C or glycosylated hemoglobin. It measures how well you have been doing for the past three months. To do this test requires a blood draw into a lavender tube.

Check if a local hospital or clinic offers diabetes screening. A local drug store might sell a Glucose Screening Test.

Fasting Blood Sugar or FBS is the best way to know if you have diabetes. You'll have to be without food for 10 hours before a small amount of blood is extracted and analyzed for your blood sugar level. It is best done in the morning before eating anything. Just take with you a small package of food to eat when you already have your blood extracted.
