I had the same problem when I was younger. When I was younger I started to switch over to diet, but then i relized diet isnt good either, and slowly as i grew older...and I would give up pop for lent and then I just stopped drinking it.(but thats because Im Catholic...but I dont know what you are) I havent had a soda in a long time now. I drink water everyday and Tea...but I dont like how tea tastes normal so i add some 0 calorie sweetner. Just slowly switch to water and tea bags. It will happen, be paitenet and slowly stop drinking soda. Like if you go to a resturant order lemonade or tea or water. And if your at a friend's house ask for water or juice enstead of pop. Trust me slowly you'll stop drinking it.

Soda is really bad if you drink too much of it. There is a type of water that tastes like soda and has very little or even no calories. . You really cannot tell the difference. And it's much better for you too. Check around in stores if you're interested. in the meantime....try to limit how many sodas you drink. You'll thank yourself later ^_^

Switch to unsweetened ice tea--the real, brewed kind, not the pop kind from most fast food joints. You will get the benefits of antioxidants, and if you drink three glasses of green tea it counts as a vegetable (so "they" say).

If you don't like unsweetened tea start out by mixing it with something sweet like a little lemon aid mix or peach drink. Better yet, drop in the seed from a papaya after you eat the fruit. Yummy! Just don't add white sugar.

If it's the fizzy-sweet-cold part, get soda water, and mix it with fruit juice -- or a wee bit of a concentrate like Ribena or grenadine.

Switch to coffee. It's healthier than soda and will allow your body to get that caffeine it craves without any detrimental health effects.

Drink black coffee instead. At least you'll cut out the sugar and still get your caffiene fix.

Plus it will taste nasty and over time you'll drink less and probably end up weaning yourself off the caffiene craze without thinking about it. Just don't give in to the urge to put sugar or creamer in it.

cola has lots of sugar and salts.
try drinking iced tea, water,
and go cold turkey.
avoid cola for 6 months.
and work out alot!
you won't be too addicted then.
xD

hope it works!

Get some more, maybe not cause it's bad for you. Try an alternative like juice or sports drink.
