Heard that one before but it's still damned funny!

Ice up hose (brrr!) if a Catheter Ablation specialist died, at his funeral
he'd have a very thin time!

Most of them are, if I hadn't questioned 2 cardiologists at length and with a lot of I'm the Doctor and your the patient just do what I tell you attitude that I had over the last 10 years I would not be here to write this. You know your body better than anyone. Also contrary to the first answer Cardiologists do not "Operate" they just diagnose. They treat people generically, that is you either fit in this group or the other. They are more interested in the dollar than the patient and worst of all they see themselves at the top of the ladder as compared to other Doctors. The best weapon is knowledge, everything they know is out there for you to know you just have to look for it. If this sounds bad it is because I didn't fit their profile and because of the arroganceI would be dead.

No, they are not. Think of the work they do. They deal with death and dying every single day. They hold your life in their hands when they operate. They have to study for years to become a cardiologist and continue to study since advances are made almost daily.

You can't blame them if they appear to be a tad arrogant. Mine was a nice, human, person with a good sense of humor. Even if he had been brusk with me, he helped me and I'll put up with a little crap for that alone.

my mother's cardiologist always told her that he would like to retire and live on a farm...hopefully you are not dating your cardiologist...that would be unethical of him..
