First of all, let me say that I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time dealing with your medical and financial problems.

I'm unclear as to what you're trying to say - are you saying that you have "7 blown discs" in your back because you worked as a sandblaster? Which discs? Have you have surgery to repair these discs? Back pain is very difficult to deal with, mostly because it is a very difficult type of pain to treat, and patients who have back pain frequently become dependent on or addicted to pain medications. Has that happened to you? You don't say why you were fired. Were you missing a lot of work, unable to do your job, or using too much pain medication?

Also, are you trying to say you only have part of one functioning lung left? What happened? It sounds like you want your former employer to pay for medical care for injuries that happened after your term of employment.

Maybe both you and your wife could get a desk job - telemarketing, or filing, something that doesn't require physical labor. A lot of people have degenerative disk disease, and while it certainly can cause pain, it doesn't usually keep people from getting a job.

You certainly seem very angry, and I would guess (just a guess), you are suffering at least from depression. Studies have shown that treating depression can improve chronic pain. Regardless, I don't think blaming other people is really the answer. Neither is suicide - you would only worsen the situation for your family if you left them abruptly. Seek counseling and medical care - there are always free clinics, and your county (particularly if its urban) should have a county hospital where you can get treatment. Good luck.

No matter how you feel, you have 3 children who still need their father, no matter what the situation. They would rather live in the car than lose you. Don't you dare take this responsibility lightly. You just do the best you can with whatever you have to work with, it will do.

For what it's worth, your life is better than mine in three very important ways. I lost mine.

Hold on here. YOU made copies of your doctor's notes, right? If you didn't, that's on you. God doesn't hate you. You are so full of hate instead of doing what you can to help YOURSELF that you are letting it ruin your life. Go back to social services and get more help....and some counseling.

Get off the cross, we need the wood.
