I have taken a pregcy test already a week before I was on my monthly cycle and a week after. Both were negative.

No it doesn't. You can still have a yeast infection while on your period..Don't stop taking the medication just because you started.

Yup, it sure can. If you go an entire month without a period though and are sexually active, please do a pregnancy test to be sure you aren't pregnant. I've had recurrent yeast infections myself years ago and I noticed that I usually got them right before my period was due (the change in hormones can make it a better enviornment for yeast to grow) and then my period was a few days late. Things seemed to be all back to normal after using the Monistat and having a period. Good luck!

The two have NOTHING to do with each other besides that many women do get yeast infections just before their period due to hormone fluctuations at that time of the month.
Having a yeast infection won't delay the cycle.
Pregnancy will though, or other hormonal imbalances.
You should consult a Physician if your period is late.

No, the monthly cycle is caused by hormones in your body. A yeast infection is only a local infection and doesn't have the capability of affecting your hormone production!
