Easy - Pleasure & Ignorance (aka, denial). They don't want to give up something that they feel is pleasureable.

Most don't weigh whether or not 15 minutes of human pleasure is more important than a life. They don't think about it and when they do, they push it out of their heads. As long as they aren't watching it be butchered and aren't associating it with a living creature, they can be ignorant and deny where it's coming from. They don't like the think past the supermarket shelf.

There is no logic.... It is just human culture and heritage

We ate what was available at the places we thrived .. and we also have our wonderful senses of smell, taste, cravings etc..

So even when some people say eating meat is not right because we are killing other living things.... the most sensitive people will also say eating plants is also killing lives.

It is okay to eat any kind of, it is the amount we eat and how we eat that matters.... As i just said in another answer:

-In the name of vegetarianism there are so many Indians who drink endless cups of coffee, tea, milk... eat ghee, sweets, and expensive nuts... This is not the right way to vegetarianism

On the other hand a person eating meat just eats enough for a meal and may not eat food during the night or eat light food for the next 2-3 days

What we eat - clubbed with how we eat it is what really matters

A Carnivore's Logic is generally:-
1) But you can't have a meal without meat !
2) We have pointed incisors like carnivores and if we were meant to eat vegetables we would have 4 stomachs like a cow !
3) We need it for growth and repair !
4) Our ancestors ate meat for a million years ago !
5) If God did not want us to eat animals why did he make them out of meat ! ?

Andie's replies are:-
1) Come to my house for dinner for a week - then tell me I can't make a meal without meat !!
2) You also have molars and pre-molars to chew vegetables and fruit with. Your digestive system is like that of a sheep or rabbit. If you were meant to eat meat you would be more naturally sinewy, be more aerodynamic have REALLY long incisors and have big claws and be able to run at 50mph like Felidae Acinconyx. I haven't seen many humans do that have you?
3) You need protein for growth and repair. You can obtain this from Beans, pulses, grains, nuts, peas, mushrooms and wheat.
4) They also slept with the whole tribe, smelt rank, had ratty hair and only lived to 30 or 40 , I'm 35 next Birthday - I guess that makes me a tribal elder !
5) God made animals from flesh, like humans. Does that mean that you want to eat people too?

I agree. Mostly just ignorance on behalf of the consumer. Most people were raised on a meat based diet, and have never challenged the notion. Most meat eaters cannot grasp the concept that nothing needs to die in order for us to eat. Being uninformed about how bad the meat industry is doesnt help. Foods are heavily marketed, and little media coverage is given to the conditions of factory farms, slaughterhouses, and the use of hormones and steroids and antibiotics. I feel comfortable knowing I get everything I need from a plant based diet, and eating dead animals is not necessary for my satisfaction

i think meat eating began as a type of victory social gathering. Primitive tribes, in awe of a predator, believed they could get carry of the quite a few predator's characteristics in the event that they have been to consume his "soul." Or seeing a feared predator eating yet another animal could have taught guy to do it additionally. there is likewise the sacrifice as pronounced interior the old testomony, i think it could additionally look interior the Torah and the Koran. The sacrifice replaced into seen as a tribute to God, yet guy ought to easily assume the reason replaced into to soothe, or feed God, by way of fact guy ought to think of of no incorrect way this sacrifice could be used to soothe him/her. and prefer the fruit of the backyard of Eden, guy wished to be greater like God, so he began to soothe himself interior the comparable way. i think there are a number of available factors for why guy eats meat, there must be many distinctive motives. This talk board would not supply the flexibility to talk all of them.

Humans are inherently omnivorous. Some people don't like vegetables all that much. Some people love meat. It takes more discipline and work to create a balanced vegetarian diet.

One might better ask about the logic of a vegetarian diet. (Yes, I know, there are plenty of good reasons.)
