Not if the cow felt pain or was negatively affected, it wouldn't. But if you're thinking (yes, it's a stretch) of the kind of thing that they're trying to do where they grow "meat" through cloning without killing anything, then I guess it depends on your opinion of cloning.

Think about this logically. What if people who liked human meat (cannibals) didn't kill you for food but just kept coming up and hacking slices off you? It would hurt like feck and I'm guessing that you wouldn't be feeling too crash hot either, friend. Neither would the animal that you are wanting to subject to this .

You eat the muscle of the animal,if you cut it,it wouldn't be able to walk /move properly and the antibiotics to prevent the infection that would result would taint the meat.
And it would be mean.

How stupid. How would YOU feel if I cut a chunk of meat out of your @ss? No, its still torture. Don't try to find ways to justify your weekness. Accept that you have no self control and willpower, and learn to live with the fact that you eat meat because you are selfish. Something has to suffer and die in order for you to stuff your face. Its your karma, your choice. If you were already a vegetarian, you wouldn't have asked such an assinine question
