Do you know about the Fair Tax plan? You should.

How can we bring more businesses to the US, and keep US companies from sending our jobs overseas? How can we get tax evaders and illegals to pay taxes? How can we get rid of a confusing tax code?

Do you know how much you actually PAY in taxes? No? There's a reason for that.

I just read a question about why we should pay taxes on things we don't personally use. The Fair Tax has many answers and would solve ALOT of problems.

Please go to www.fairtax.org, or read The Fair Tax Book by John Linder and Neal Boortz to learn more.

Some of you do not fully understand the Fair Tax. The Fair Tax bill would eliminate the IRS and a very confusing and Unfair tax code via a national sales tax. Everyone would get a "prebate" check each month for the cost of living, according to how many people are in the household. You would only pay taxes on stuff you purchase. So, the poor would actually pay NO TAXES, since they would get a check for necessary items EACH MONTH. We all would have more money to spend each paycheck, since the govt. would not be taking their chunk out of it. You would always know EXACTLY how much taxes you are paying; it would be on every sales receipt you received. No more filing each April. No more audits. The only people who should be opposed to this are companies and accountants who charge to file your taxes and politicians who love to pull the wool over our eyes and take our hard earned money. Oh, and tax evaders and illegals. But even the tax evaders would get their "prebate".

I meant to say that the "prebate" check would cover the cost of taxes each month on living expenses.

I meant to say that the "prebate" check would cover the cost of taxes each month on living expenses. So no one (except illegals) would any pay taxes on the cost of living.

Chrysler Corp no longer exists. They merged with a German corp. The new Board of Directors had to make a tough decision. Should they put the worldwide headquarters in USA (pay 67.5% business profits tax) or in Germany (pay 45% business profits tax)? They went to Germany! (simple math!) When the Fair Tax is passed, they will have a similar question to decide. Should they keep the worldwide headquarters in Germany (pay 45% business profits tax) or relocate to USA (pay 0.0% business profits tax)? Is there any doubt how many businesses that have left the USA would not return? Think of the increase in job market this will create.

The Fair Tax will be displayed on the cash register receipt on every purchase and invoice for services. You will see exactly how much you pay in taxes. It will no longer be hidden. Everyone will pay the Fair Tax including tourists to USA, those in the "cash economy" and illegals on all new retail goods and services.

Each individual will control how much federal taxes they pay based on "how they spend" their money not "what they earn".There is no taxes on income of any type. (wages, interest on savings, dividends, capital gains etc) Businesses will not pay any taxes (they do not pay them now! It is a cost of doing business and passed on to the consumer.) Funds in offshore banks ($11 trillion) will be brought back into America and invested in the economy.

EVERYONE WINS (except politicans who lose control of "who pays, how much" and the lobbists)

Tax cuts, tax will boost are not the venture the venture is and that i think of Romney is 0.5 on the best song is are tax code. stunning 0.5 the country dosen't pay taxes because of the fact they do no longer hit a intense sufficient earnings bracket. The uber welathy on the different hand have such quite some loop holes they arrive out paying lots much less then they might desire to. interior the tip it dosen't assemble sufficient sales to run the goverment. A small tax decrease on the wealthy, a small boost on some human beings on the precise of that 40 seven% and no loop holes for the uber wealthy might initiate increasing sales without collasping the device.

There isn't such a thing as "fair" taxes. A sales tax ends up being the most repressive tax system available. A fair tax would be one in which you pay your fair share. I'm here to tell you that if that were the case, we wouldn't be in Iraq, we wouldn't be paying tobacco farmers subsidies, and we sure as hell wouldn't be paying for Nancy Pelosi's personal Boeing 757.
