Garden has some good material in the answer they posted.

You also need to keep in mind that there are other ways to catch various STDs.

Needles is indeed one but even kissing can at times spread diseases and oral sex certainly can. Some people don't consider oral sex to be "real sex" so when they say they never had sex they may not be including oral sex and they can get diseases that way and pass them on to you.

There are also bladder infections you can get from things as simple as not washing your hands, dirty glasses or even dirty underwear.

What you describe may also be what are called cysts and are large pimples more or less.

You really should go to family planning or a nearby free clinic though with this sort of question rather than asking random people on the net. It's your body and your life.

No one on the net can give you a safe diagnosis, not even a full fledged doctor. You have to see someone in person to be sure.

You owe it to yourself and your partner.

There is only one way to have sex and have no STD risk: if you were both virgins. So if it is true that you've only slept with eachother, and if he's definitely telling the truth about it, and if neither of you had any sexual abuse in the past (children can sometimes catch STDs because of abuse), then it's not an STD! To have an STD you almost always have to have had sex with someone, so if neither of you had sex with anyone before eachother, you are both STD-free.

If it's where your hair grows, then it probably is ingrown hair or something. The only reason you should worry is if it's actually on the inside parts of your privates, the smooth parts with no hair just around the vagina/clitoris. In that case you should see a doctor, though it's still almost impossible that it's an STD!

The only way I can imagine that it could be an STD is if your boyfriend has cold sores, and you never had them before (if you've ever had a cold sore you can't catch the virus again), and he gave you oral sex when the virus was present on his mouth. Then it could be herpes, which sometimes looks like pimples. This is very, VERY unlikely, since cold sores are almost never contagious unless you can see sores. In which case I'd hope you'd know better than to let those touch your privates!

If you are sure that you are the first person that he's slept with, and he's the first person you slept with, chances are that it's not an std. Although you can get std's from oral sex too. So if either of you have had oral sex with another person, then with each other, you can pass it on that way. So you most be absolutely positive that neither of you have ever had any kind of sexual encounter with another person. It could just be razor burn, which will sometimes cause small pus filled bumps, but usually is not painful, just irritating. Or it could be an ingrown hair, which would explain the pain you say it's been causing you. Just to be sure, I would recommend seeing a doc. Thats my advice. Hope all goes well.

Those things are normal. There are these matched glands down there that can get plugged, plus you can get some kind of pimple thing down there, and it hurts like anything. Seems to me sitting in a warm bath for 1/2 hour helps more than anything.

In general, you don't want to take someone's word that they haven't slept with others. People don't always tell the truth, and it's YOUR health. It's devastating when you are lied to like that, but it happens!! I think like 1/3 of people carry herpes, I thought I read that. (probably he is being truthful, i'm not running him down, but you need to take care of yourself, plus people can get sick by using dirty needles)
