Gluclose: 12.0
Cholestrol:189
Triglycerides: 100
Chol/HDL Ratio: 3.2
HDL Cholestrol: 59
LDL Chol: 110

What does all fo this mean? Please only answer if you are a health care provider.

The evidence seems to be mounting that LDL should be less than 70. Maybe lower. HDL is generally helpful if it above 40-45, so yours is good.If your glucose is 120mg and you were fasting when the blood was drawn, you may be diabetic. Better check with your Doc.

This question cannot be fully answered with just a lab result. Is it fasting? What is your age? Gender? Past medical history? If a lab were just an isolated set of numbers to treat, then computers could be programmed to be doctors. It is just not that straight forward.

Overall, your lipid panel looks good. But you probably typed the glucose in wrong, or the units that your lab uses may be different than standard reporting in the US. In the US this is reported as mg/dL and a normal reading would be 70-120mg/dL. If it is being reported in mmol/L then 4-8 is a normal range. A blood glucose level of 12mg/dL would mean you were either dead or in a coma.

Why didn't you discuss this with the doctor who ordered the blood work?
