Hi,
I am curious.
I had an episode of my mouth drooping.
doctor ruled out bells palsey and did a CT scan,
she said it was normal.
I still smile normally without numbness.
This did happen after a dentist appointment.
but I also get high blood pressure.
at times.
I do suffer from panic attacks at times.
This causes very high heart rates and blood
pressure.
I am now on beta blockers, it does help some.
I guess my question is..
can tension in my face cause one side to droop
for a day or so?
I welcome any input.

I had drooping of one side of my mouth immediately after a dentist's appointment. I think she gave too much local anesthetic. :) It went away after a few hours. It is scary while it's happening, though. I'm glad your testing has been normal, and if that's the only time this has ever happened, I hope you will be able to relax and not worry about it anymore.

I have a feeling it was a side effect from the injections at the dentist's office. He may have nicked a nerve or muscle with the needle.

I would seek the advice of a Neurologist.
