I would think agar would work. It is a seaweed based gelling agent. It doesnt melt in your mouth like jello does, but it does gel well. No harm trying, When and where is the party? I wanna come! I imagine the authorities will be called before the party starts-imaging what mainstream would make of a vegan jello shots party-in their narrow minds, they would picture a bunch of long haired hippie types, nibbling on carrots and doing jello shots, all reeking of pachouli oil, lol

There are non-gelatine "jellos" that can be made. Generally they are made of agar agar which is some kind of vegetable. I've had that kind of "jello" and it's pretty good.

If you wanted pre-packaged bags of it you'd probably have to get it at an Asian or maybe Indian grocery store.
