Most large chain supermarkets carry them. Or if you have a Trader Joes, Whole Foods or any Mexican grocery store.

It's called chorizo, and if your area has a sizable Latino population then you should be able to find some in the sausage section of the grocery store. If not, try a Carniceria - Mexican butcher.

If your area does not have either of these, then linguica (Portuguese sausage) is similar.

Most large grocery chains have commercial brands of chorizo (at least in Calif., where I live) - Carmelita is one example. There is also a veggie brand - "Soyrizo" - which is surprisingly good. Still fatty, but a lot less than the regular stuff.

It depends on where you live. If you live in a city with a large Mexican/Latino community you can try going to a Mexican grocery shop.

Some people know it as dry Spanish sausage, but it is known as chorizo. A mex grocer should know.

Just look for "chorizo" in the meat section of a fairly large grocery store. If you have a heavy latin population, then check out any latin stores.

Chorizo is becoming more widely available. Check the meat or deli section of your grocery store. If your favorite store doesn't have it, befriend the butcher and have him/her special order some for you!

this is a tricky question because of the fact i do no longer know the place you reside, Montel. the genuine answer is so you might purchase the sausages you decide on in lots of places, yet i'm uncertain which may well be right for you.
