He and Marylin got divorced a while back and jumped on another diet bandwagon. Her last book was "Fitonics" which included her love of eating enzymes (digestive enzyme tablets), hypno-meditation and some new exercises. Eat right and exercise...you'll be fine.

i borrowed the book from the library recently, and have read some of it. i'm not sure of what i make of it. some of the principles, like eating a diet primarily of high water content foods, like fruits and veggies, make sense to me. i'm a vegetarian, so i can easily support his no-meat, no dairy stance. i find the food combining principle to be a little weird though. it's very limiting and hard to follow through with. also, i have been trying to follow the energy/food pyramid (eating only fruit until noon and then moving from veggies to nuts/seeds and grains later in the day) but that is also hard to do all the time. i do find that i feel better, lighter, and am more regular when i stick to this way of eating.

i have consulted with a nutrition/wellness coach and a dietitian and they advise me that some of his principles (especially the only fruit until noon and the food combining) are not supported by science, but they think it's good that i'm eating more fruits and veggies, because overall, it's healthier for you.

i started the diet last month and have been following it pretty consistently. with exercising, i have lost a good amount of weight as a result, so i guess it has been working for me.
