i am cooking cornbeef and don't know how to cut it

You always cut corned beef "against" the grain of the meat. The grain being those little lines you'll see in the meat. I like it sliced "very thin" - it's really great if you have an electric knife or better yet, a home electric meat slicer - Enjoy!!

I've never had to cut corned beef. When cooked right it shreds nicely. Then when the leftovers are refrigerated, you just slice them across the grain and cube them and voila! Hash.

Against the grain of the meat. If you don't cut it this way, the meat will shred.

Is it tinned? If so chop it up and add to fries onions and baked beans. Cook ubtil its one big gooey mess. Eat with lots of bread. FANTASTIC
