Well don't go all out. This is the first time he comes over so save the real ammo for later (Cosmo magazine has an engagement chicken recipe that is just that= you make it, he proposes. No need for that yet!)
Try making grilled chicken the night before, You can marinate and grill a ton of chicken breasts and keep them for yourself if you don't use them. Then the night he comes over, you don't need to worry about it, it is done.
Use the chicken in a chicken salad (caesar, greek, garden, whatever) OR use it on homemade pizza, or in a pasta dish, the possibilities are endless. Pick up a homemade bread in the supermarket and set it up in the oven so just before he gets there, warm it up and your home will smell like bread. mmm!
Serve warm brownies and ice cream for dessert with coffee. Keep the wine flowing and have fun!

Well, first of all...it's his first time having dinner with you, so don't go all out because that will make the guy a little suspicious that your obsessed with him. Just cook something fresh, yet quick and simple. Maybe a chicken salad with chicken that your able to cook in the oven. Then have a main course of a pasta like spaghetti or lasagna with a side of vegetables like green beans or something that you think will complement the pasta. And then make a dessert if you would like to. E-mail me back if you have questions!
Good luck!

Chicken, shrimp, scallops are always good on the grill. Make up some shish-ka-bobs such as chicken with some veggies or shrimp and pineapple chunks with teryoki marinade. You could try scallops wrapped with bacon. Be creative. You can grill a nice dinner for that someone special without having to use ingredients he doesn't like.

Spaghetti!!! Very inexpensive, yet sensual. However, not your average spaghetti w/meatball. I use spicy Italian sausage in addition to the beef. Don't make meat balls. Instead, brown the sausage and beef with a little peppers, onions, mushrooms.. When that's browned, drain the oil. In a large saucepan, add whatever tomatoe sauce you like and add your meat mixture, a pinch of sugar and season to taste. For example, I use: garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, chili powder, Adobo and Old Bay.....Some of those seasonings may be unavailable or unfamiliar to you, based on your region. So just use what you have. Mix w/pasta and add some garlic bread or those Pillsbury Grands bisquits and you've got a winner

I would think about making dinner with him! Something you can do together. Im not sure what though so I guess thats not much help. But I think it is fun to cook together and it gives ton of oppourtunity to flirt! Something that involves chopping and everything. I don't know uh.... try a 30 minute meal from Rachal Ray...

Something you can cook in advance, so you're not hot, smelly and flustered from the kitchen. What about a wonderful beef in red wine, served with rice and a lovely fresh green salad. All can be prepared in advance. Yummy!

Make something that you are comfortable making, nothing that would stress you out. Don't make anything like lasagna or spaghett if it gets spilled it is going to stain your clothes. You can get beef tenderloin with some root vegetables and put it in the slow cooker with some salt and pepper and you really don't have to "cook" at all.

How about an all-day spaghetti sauce? Then all you have to do is boil the pasta while you prep other stuff like salad, dressing, get the table ready, etc... A ziti bake is good too. They're both simple, but down to earth and relaxing dinners.

Well if it were me and I was coming to your house for the first time I think I would want you to serve me one of my favorite meals that would show me that you were really interested in me because you actually listened to what I liked and didn't like and that you also wanted to please me . That's what I think good luck
