Actually a number of diseases can be spread that way. It is statistically possible even if neither person has an sores or cuts.

Saliva contains blood and mucous from the lungs and nose as well as bacteria from the mouth which can carry disease. It can even carry parasites and eggs.

There are several diseases which spread quite easily this way such as hepatitis and mononucleosis.

Syphilis, herpes and other STD's can spread this way and the odds increase greatly if either person has cuts or sores, and moreso if both do.

There are forms of mutated pneumonia that can spread this way as well as some forms of necrotizing fascitis, both of which can kill you in just a few days.

We live in a world where the time to spread a disease and the options to spread it are higher than they ever have been in the history of the planet.

In short, if you have a mouth sore it is even worse than ever to share anything with someone or kiss them. It is also taking a chance with their health as well since you are never fully sure just exactly what you may be carrying yourself.

No, I don't believe so. Only if that person had an open cut/sore on his/her mouth also. That's also IF they had an STD. Appearing promisuous doesn't nessicerily mean they have an STD.

if you have a cold sore, it is likely herpes simplex which is highly contagious if the sore is open. when the blister is not draining, its not as likely. certain std's could be transmitted orally if thats how they got the disease...

once you assert generic do you advise a wholesome std unfastened guy or woman? If the two companions are examined and are illness unfastened, then the probabilities are not as severe as though one patner has one. Bt till you genuinely see the attempt results of your better half use secure practices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you know you have cold sores, you really shouldn't share knives, forks or glasses and try to avoid kissing people. It isn't fair to knowingly pass your virus on to someone who is not infected with it.

Very unlikely, only real chance if if they also had open sores/cuts on their mouth.

Even that chance is minimal

The only STD that might be spread that way might be herpes, but I am not even sure you could catch it,in the way you describe.

I would think that the chances are very slim.
