why do folks use it as an opportunity to attack each other? i truly dont understand vegans but i do admire vegetarians for their choices of food items. vegetables are good, and i like them too. but to tell me and other omnivores how i should eat and feel about what i choose to eat is totally wrong. and i will argue and fight you vegans to the last tooth and nail. i dont give a rat's *** about the cow or pig or chicken or fish or lamb or deer or any other meat bearing animal i just ate for supper. its the way of the world. vegans like to split hairs on what it is they eat. and at the same time they want everybody else to agree with them. you go, you vegetarians. do what makes you feel good. vegans can go suck eggs for all i care.

well isnt that the pot calling the kettle black. You come into the veggie section, attack the vegans, clearly admit that YOU DONT UNDERSTAND, and then b i t c h because someone is telling you how to eat? Blow off, you idiot. You can go suck eggs yourself. You made yourself look as stupid as you are with this post. I hope you feel better. Perhaps a little of the rage the animal you ate for dinner is coming out in you-try a prayer and antacid

I can't tell you what you should or should not eat, but if you like vegetarianism, check out this podcast:

on iTunes: Vegetarian Food for Thought
or go to Compassionatecooks.com

Before you judge, learn a little about it.
There's nothing wrong with sharing information about how "food" is produced...its nice to know where what you eat comes from. If you feel attacked in the face of this information, you might ask yourself why?
If you feel good about your food choices and all that is behind them, okay...why then attack others who make different choices based on the same information?
3 months ago I was eating meat and animal products- I'm glad someone opened my eyes to the realities of what happens and gave me an opportunity to consider that information for myself and make my own choice.
Good luck to you.

Yes it's a section for talking about Vegetarian and Vegan diets. It's also a section for talking about animal rights issues, and animal use issues.

I could care less if you don't like people telling you what to eat or how to feel about something, don't read those posts then. If you want to discuss and debate issues of animal use here feel free, I do often. No one minds arguing of the ISSUES, and that's the key word here. No one wants to hear your personal attacks about Vegans. Complain about us in the meat sections, I don't care. Don't come in here with a complete lack of understanding of the issues and tell us what you don't like about us personally.

You want to argue and fight me to the last tooth and nail? Lets go, I like a good debate. You pick the topic (a real issue) and we will debate it until the "last tooth and nail."

here is the link to my Yahoo group: http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/veggiefacts

go there and register and I will give you a membership that will last the duration of our debate(s). The format that provides is much easier to debate in than this one.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm a vegan, and I NEVER told you what to eat. It seems like YOU'RE the one telling ME what to eat, insulting people like me, and basically coming in here just to start a fight. Go away.
