I started seeing a girl that works at a local bar about 2 weeks ago and I think she's awesome! The problem I have is that about 2 or 3 days after we "hooked up", I started to experience a burning sensation when I pee along with yellowish-green discharge with a strong odor. Is that a sign of an STD??

You slept with a bar chick with no protection? I think you already knew the answer before you asked. This is exactly why you hear all those stories about bar people.

A very famous rock singer once told me: "Never sleep with groupies or bar chicks. You are better off taking your chances with a hooker." (I used to be in bands.)

I have to agree that it sounds like gonorhea. There are a few others that have similar symptoms like trichomoniasis and chlamydia but you don't want to mess around with any of them.

Don't waste time. You can do real, permanent damage to your body. Get to a doctor immediate and get her to one as well.

If she tries to dodge getting tested and treated then drop her fast because she doesn't care how she can be hurting and in some cases, killing other people. That is a time when it is better to tell people around the bar to watch out for her. It may seem low to some but it will save a lot of people the same hassle you are having.

RULE: If it hurts when you pee, there is always a problem. Don't wait until you get a discharge as well. Get a test immediately.

Its better than possibly a urinary tract an infection, whether in the experience that your wellbeing care provider examined your pee and it got here up detrimental then that is not a UTI. Which leads me to have self assurance its whats called a Gal Stone, basically the realm outcomes of having on is burning once you pee and you do no longer pee often in any respect. Ever watch eco-friendly mile? comparable difficulty. tell your wellbeing care provider this theory he might have some tests to coach it.

Yes. It's an absolutely typical picture of gonorrhoea. Get properly diagnosed and treated immediately, and make sure your friend gets treated at the same time. She may well be awesome, but she is at risk of developing a nasty and painful condition called pelvic inflammatory disease if she doesn't get this infection treated ASAP.

Chlamydia, trichomonas and some other infections can also cause similar symptoms, but the greenish yellow discharge makes gonorrhoea very likely.

I'm no expert on STD's but you could have a common yeast infection. Yes men can get those or even just a bladder infection. Go see your doctor as soon as possible to make sure.

You have gonorrhea. AIDS and a False Sense of Security

A WOMAN who tested positive for the AIDS virus wrote, as quoted in The New York Times of June 16, 1990: “I am a 36-year-old happily married, white female, who has never had syphilis, gonorrhea or chlamydia, has never used crack, never been an intravenous drug user, never had a blood transfusion.”

She adds: “Because I haven’t had sex with anyone other than my husband since we were married, this means I have been positive for at least five years with no symptoms.” Is this woman unique? Not at all, as she observes: “I know of at least a score of women from my support groups of similar socioeconomic background with a similar story.”

How, then, have such people become infected with AIDS? The woman explains: “Clearly, I contracted the acquired immune deficiency syndrome virus through heterosexual contact [prior to marriage]. . . . Equally clearly, that man would today be classified as a risky sexual partner, but it was not apparent to me at the time.”

AIDS has often been classified as a disease limited almost exclusively to male homosexuals and intravenous drug users. But based on her own experience and firsthand information, the woman maintains that this view “gives white middle-class society a false sense of security.”

She concludes: “AIDS will emerge into the population at large if we continue to think in terms of risk groups, to think in terms of the other getting it, not me. We are all at risk. If I could become [AIDS] positive, any woman (or man) can too.”

What she is saying, in other words, is that any woman or man who engages in premarital sex—who commits fornication—can become infected. How wise, therefore, to heed the Bible command: “Flee from fornication. Every other sin that a man may commit is outside his body, but he that practices fornication is sinning against his own body.”—1 Corinthians 6:18.

I agree with Snout. To be sure, go see your doctor 1st though. Make sure its not a yeast infection or anything. If you find it is a std, then get her treated as well asap.

Gonoreah. If you didnt use a condom you should get treated for it now, you should let her know to get treated too, gonoreah tests arnt accurate either they can test negative when you have it, so can HIV tests, so the best thing is just to treat it itll be cured youll be fine. you should get an hiv test too, an std makes hiv easier to catch.
