Hi there. I just got back from the ER and they diagnosed with with bronchitis. I hate, hate, hate having it!

Mine lasts at least 3-8 weeks. Depends on how bad I get it. I am so hoping that it only lasts a short time this time but I doubt it since I am already wheezing.

But yea, it can last anywhere from 2 weeks to 8 weeks. Sometimes more! Good luck!

It depends on the cause and what you are calling "regular
bronchitis"if it is bacterial you will get over it 4-5 days after you start antibiotics.if it is Viral then you wo't need antibiotics but it will be about 2 weeks.Get checked by a doctor so you are sure it is not strep or mono

it can last for months untreated. I had it one time for 8 weeks before going to the doctors. It can really hurt. A doctor can give you an inhaler which will help a lot. my oldest has had it for like 4 months she will not do what the doctor says and wont slow down from school work and social obligations. Got so bad the other night she couldn't breath.
