I caught a cold and bought Zicam Oral Mist Spray. Spraying did not work, nothing came out. I exchanged the item. The new spray also did not work. Who has ever bought this spray? Did you have the same problems? How can I spray?

I have never found the oral sprays to be effective, simply because saliva plays a huge role in diluting and destroying the active ingredients. I switched to the Zicam nasal swabs, that way the active ingredients are directly absorbed thru the mucosal tissues and directly into the blood stream...,much more effective.

I work with several pulmonologists and they've done trials of both the spray and swab versions of Zicam. Guess what neither one did any better than chicken soup or cholorseptic throat spray for relief of symptoms. So save your money and eat chicken soup. Homemade is the best.

Cold sprays are not necessarily effective for treating symproms of an infection. It really didn't help for me either
