i may only help you in Chinese traditional dishes cuz i'm a Chinese.. I can name a few.. Erm.. we have "Bak Kut Teh" here in Klang, Malaysia.. Its Pork with Chinese Herbs and we usually eat it with rice.. And we have dumplings, "Jiao Zhi".. and "zhong zhi" lotus leaf with sticky rice... "tang yuan湯å" alls of glutinuous rice, which symbolize reunion. Tangyuan are made of glutinuous rice flour and sometimes brightly coloured.. and maybe even Mooncakes "Yue Bing".. There are so much more and each and everyone of those foods have their own special stories.. Check them out..!!
