Your show about the very overweight folks says that the one man can eat $500 worth of food a day. I think he weighed 700 lbs., and the lady said $200 a day or so. How do they afford to pay for all the food when they can't work? Does disability pay enough for all that food?

The individual pays his food cost. The sources may be a variety of revenues. I think the dollar amounts are over stated. Now, society probably pays the health care costs of these folks.

I would assume there is someone else in the household also providing money for said food. Disability is barely enough to live on for everyone except the most conservative eaters (those who don't eat very much).
