sore throat help!!!!!!!!!!?

hi. my throat is really killing me and it hurt s in the middle i tried theraflu drinking lots of water and taking advils and gargling warm water with salt. iam only 13 and is it that my voice is changing? i also have ashma and i cough alot. I also have state tests on monday so plz i need relief FAST

now my nose is runny

Do you have a runny nose? If not, you may have strep throat and you will need antibiotics. You should go to the doctor because if it is strep throat, your throat can be better by Monday if you get started on the antibiotics. If it's a cold, or mono, antibiotics will not help

I dont know if this happens when your voice changes, but i get very severe sore throats from time to time and the only thing that relieves the pain is the choraseptic throat spray, becasue it numbs-actually i get the store/generic brand because it works just the same and is way cheaper. But it is only around 5 dollars or less for either kind. Hope you feel better because i know how awful that pain can be.

Fluids, and meds as you've been doing. The salt water is great. And no, it has nothing to do with your voice changing, its a cold/flu, strep throat.

If you have had it a while and it is not getting any better you should see a doctor as it will probably take antibiotics to get rid of it.

You're probably just comeing down with the cold take some coughing medicine and cold medicine, and keep drinking lots of water.....Get well soon!
