Don't worry about the fat content of olive oil. Olive oil is the best oil (fat) you can get. It has no harmful effects on your cholesterol level, besides being good on your skin, nerves, and heart. You have made a good choice.

Obviousley, the salad. The pie has the most calories. But it is not really a food with fat, I cannot resist it anyway!! Pita bread has not fat, unless oiled before, but isn't it a bit tasteless? Hummus is not greek, so I don't know. In general, greek cuisine does not have much fat (except of course things like "pita - gyros") , despite the olive oil used in almost all dishes, so do not worry and enjoy your meal.

Greek Salad is great (the feta is where the calories hide), spinach pie is delish (hidden calories in the layers of butter between phyllo layers) hummus & pita are very healthy. Try the grilled entrees.

But on the whole, I think Greek food is one of the healthiest cuisines.

they are all good choices. The spinach pie would have the highest fat content due to the phyllo dough and feta, but is still a good choice. I would have to opt for the works. I developed and allergy to wheat and can no longer have the pie or pita-two of my favorite things in the world

The hummus pita would have slightly less fat. It depends on how the Greek salad is made since both the feta cheese and the dressing can contribute. Both are pretty healthy for you.

I would suggest the greek salad because it has very healthy vegetables and it is something rich in taste that i guarantee you will enjoy!! : ) Pita is very fatening, and so is the spinach pie, although the spinach with the feta mixed with spinach is delicious!!

All of those things are high in fat.

I would recommend eating the hummus with pita bread. There is no animal fat, and it has fresher ingredients.

Yum! Get the two a souvlaki wrap (marinated beef tenderloin wraped in grilled pita bread) or a good greek salad. in case you have on no account had Greek nutrition, you need to to stay far off from something like moussaka (that's a sort of eggplant lasagna minus the pasta in case you will, with a cream sauce on precise.) i admire that variety of element, however the countless authenic places could positioned a sprint cinnamon in it, and that would take you off shield. in the event that they have grape leaves, evaluate your self fortunate, and get a element of those with tzatziki sauce to dip them in. Thier olives are good, so do not enable it take you off shield. you're in for a actual take care of! I used to artwork in a greek relax. that's how I met my hubby, 15 years in the past. We nevertheless communicate with the vendors, needless to say. :-) Baklava is a sturdy dessert!

a Greek salad - minus the olive oil I guess that is the one with the lower fat content. Now keep in mind that hey use olive oil and that is good fat for you. so i would not really worry about it and have fun.

I love spinach pie, but I don't know if it's the healthiest. It has a lot of fried crust in it.
