I am afraid it does. Diabetes affects the blood vessels and frequently causes impotence. Sometimes impotence is even the first presenting sign of diabetes, since it can occur in the very early stages. IF it is any consolation, I assume you are on medication for your diabetes and if in UK all your prescriptions are free and you will also be eligible for NHS erectile dysfunction drugs, like Viagra.

Try not to listen to doctors or rumours that tell you that diabetes will definitely affect your sex life - it's all down to your diabetic control. If you abuse your body and don't keep tight control of your blood sugar, your small blood vessels will fail and impotence will happen. If you look after your blood sugar and control it with the best insulins on the market (Lantus Glargine long acting and Novorapid short acting for example) and check your blood sugars regularly then you shouldn't have a problem.
However, you do have to prepare for sexual encounters by making sure that your blood sugar is adequate as there's nothing more off putting for your partner than a gun that doesn't fire! Make sure that your blood sugar is at the top of the normal range and not at the bottom.
Hope this helps. Just because you're diabetic, don't let people tell you that you can't do things. You can.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Well
If you want to read about a different scientific approach to cure your diabetes I recommend this online resource http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=549
I think that diabetes is a chronic disease (the system asserts that you could reverse your diabetes in 3 weeks) but that said the book is very interesting and "inspiring". It's always good to have different perspectives. Check it out I'm sure you'll find interesting too.
I hope it helps

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/AFrTN
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

I am 37 and have had diabetes for 11 years now. It has not affected me at all - actually the opposite. I would worry about taking care of your sugar levels and exercising and you should be fine!!
Good luck & checkout http://www.diabetes-today.net for other items on Diabetes.
