No, I don't think they are weak...infact to comfirm it - i have a fiance with schizoaffective disorder (it is less serious then schizophrenia but still you have to take medications) and i can freely say that i never met anyone as wonderful as he is. He is everything i dreamed of, real man, my soulmate!
Weakness is a part of anyone of us. Anyone can feel weak in some point of their life....And dealing with everyday life is already very hard thing to do, but when someone has schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder he/she has to deal with it as well, besides life obsticals....And they keep goind, day after day...fighting with everything they have. Personaly i consider them the most breavest people! I admire the calmness, determiantion to get better or at least endure the suffering that my fiance has.
I adore him for who he is as a person, and aslo for who he is because of the illness. And i can love him only more...
I hope this answers your question.
All the best!

No! Not at all. To endure the illness of schizophrenia...you have to be very strong. It is not an illness of weakness but a tragic illness that often strikes young people in their late teens or early twenties. It is a disorder..chemical, of the brain.
It is a cruel illness and often occurs just as the person is doing a degree or just getting their career going. Also that's the time when most people go out dating etc. Schizophrenia makes this more difficult.
Someone I know explained how his started. He was out for a walk and heard someone call his name, turned round and no one was there. He heard it again...no one there. The next time he heard it he went back to see if anyone was around but there wasn't and this was the onset of his illness....hearing voices. He was very freaked out as you can imagine.
So in answer to your question...people have to live their whole lives with this illness and have to take many drugs that have unpleasant side effects.
I admire the strength it takes to live with this illness.
Hope that helps.

Masha allah u r an extremely good muslim. U r 18, and lonely. seem for a pious Muslim guy could be by using an islamic marriage website. as quickly as u hit upon a appropriate experience for u, after scrutinizing, u can go and get married. U will then, insha-allah have an excellent islamic surrounding of loving in-regulations and u won't have 2 stay consisting of your mom. at some point she would be waiting to return around whilst she misses u. i've got self assurance that it is the only way 2 get out of an anti-islamic living house.

I'm a bit curious as to weather you are asking if they are physically weak or mentally weak?
I don't believe they are either.....unless they have some physical reason to be weak in the body.
The mental aspect of schizophrenia is somewhat sad. No one can 'help' the fact that their mind doesn't work like that of what our society deems as "normal". Schizophrenia is a "disorganised mind" ....some people have mild forms of it, others have it full blown. That doesn't make them weak, it merely means that their way of thinking isn't the same as yours.

No. Strength or weakness have nothing to do with mental illness. A schizophrenics brain has a serious chemical imbalance that can be corrected with proper care and medication.

Schizophrenia is a biological disease caused by too much of the transmitter dopamine. There is nothing weak about someone who is afflicted by this neurological disease. Very few people know this, but Parkinson's Disease is the neurological opposite of schizophrenia.

I don't think they are weak. They just have a condition that causes them mental problems.
